A beer that tastes even better than it sounds. Our barrel aged Imperial stout we made in collaboration with the talented people across the pond, Fuerst Wiacek. Aged in Bourbon barrels for 13 months, with additions of pecan nuts, cacao nibs, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Copenhagen 3/6 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Black label stating the names of breweries and beer in colorful letters.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty and roasted base mingling with earthy scent and sourish notes. Dark roasted malts, toffee and caramel. Dark alcohol, wood and a whiff of peat. Sour milk.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, soft, a bit sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a strong presence of dark alcohol. Lingering. Finish is sweet dark alcohol.
Fine Barrel boozer barely hiding a considerable ABV.
