This beer is brewed in collaboration with BRUS. Dry hopping with citra cryo hops at the start of fermentation, the beer has a fruity/juicy intensity which is then boosted by the addition of Strata hops. Maxima trials a different yeast than we normally use for hazy IPAs, as well as a new salt profile for the Svinninge brew team. It was an experiment that didn't exactly yield the haziness intended! This beer, along with Minima is designed as a pair.

Copenhagen 13/10 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Very grey and slightly depressing can design with some metallic grey tubes wriggling.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin patches for foam floating about. Thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a lightly sweet and fruity odor mingling with a more prominent citric scent. Peach and sulphur. Tangerine and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Pretty light for a DIPA despite the intimidating name.
