Copenhagen 22/6 2023. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. As Movie Night BA 2022. Black label with small pieces of abstract art. Pretty hard to make out.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along thieve of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet odor of dark malts, Christmas spices and sweet alcohol. Toffee and caramel. Vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar. Boozy sweet Bourbon.
Low carbonation. Thick, oily, slightly greasy, soft, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet liqueur with a rough boozy edge. Finish is sugary alcohol.
A very sweet Barrel boozer laden with Christmas Spice.
