Stereo Mono HBC472
To Øl
From To Øl's single Hop series "Stereo Mono".
This time hopped with HBC472. A hop with notes of coconut, pineapple and ripe fruit. Double dry hopped makes this hop bomb for IPA thunderously fruity.

Copenhagen 20/2 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. White can stating the obvious: That I am drinking Stereo Mono HC472.
Pours opaque, murky amber with a midsized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet and malty odor mingling with sharp, slightly acerbic, citric notes. Fermented sweet mango and passion fruit. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, a bit viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy streak. Light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweetly fermented.
Sweet and boozy - almost like a DIPA.
