A true thirst quenching Gelato inspired Gose brewed with Cherry, Almonds, and Lactose. The taste of Amarena gelato, with a bright beautiful red color from the cherry, and it's a bit sweet and a bit sour (like a cherry). A touch of almond helps to round out the cherry ice cream flavor.

Copenhagen 3/8 2022. 44 cl can from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. N. Striped can in yellow and red on a green background. Circus-style.
Pours opaque burgundy with a dark purple, mid-sized head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense and freshly sweet in a smoothie way with light tart notes. Sweet ripe cherries and raspberries. Strawberry ice cream. Tart citrus and unripe gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong, fruity sweetness followed by moderately strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a touch of ice cream and a salty tang. Lingers for a while. Finish is fruity smoothie.
A quite pleasant visit to the Ice Cream parlor.
