Redtro is a special collaboration between To Øl's brewpub BRUS and To Øl City, and results in a delicious red ale, brought to new heights by adding nitrogen instead of CO2.
The beer has been given a lovely and creamy mouthfeel through the nitrogen, and the taste is fresh and then you are invited to dance with a rich taste of roasted malt. The aftertaste is quite dry with a little bitterness from the hops, and a roasted aftertaste from the malt.

Copenhagen 12/3 2022. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A red square on the can with the mystifying text A Blue Circle. A bit strange for a beer called Redtro.
Pours slightly unclear dark amber with a red hue. Big bubbly white head. Settles as tight, condensed, 2 cm thick, even layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet scent of lightly toasted malts, caramel and toffee and a sugary touch of lemonade. Light whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, gentle, lightly, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a sour tang Lingers for a bit. Finish is caramelly.
Toffee with a sour tang.
