Copenhagen 30/3 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Pink label with the word Saft in elegant black letters.
Pours opaque, dark burgundy with a medium-sized pink head. Rather bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense, perfumed fruity and with sharp citric notes. Sour unripe berries mixing with sweet currants. Pine needles. Citrus and lime. Subdued funky odor. Quite fresh.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong fruity sweetness and a strong sourness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
More flavored than IPA. Nonetheless a refreshing and tart experience. And pink foam is always popular with my daughter.
