Copenhagen 23/4 2020. 25 cl bottle from Ølkassen web-shop. Yellow label with black letters spelling Yule Mælk Rum Barrel Aged unevenly spaced across the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sugary sweetness, spicy bitter odor and a strong presence of alcohol. Brown sugar, molasses, leather, humid earth. Dark alcohol chiming in.
Light carbonation. Thick, smooth, soft, viscous, fat, creamy texture.
Flavor is intense and heavy sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Finish is loaded with dark alcohol and gives a healthy burn.
Absurd to drink this on a sunny spring day. But an eminent Christmas boozer with a caress of dark alcohol.
