Copenhagen 23/5 2020. 33 cl bottle Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. What looks like a purple mist on the label.
Pours hazy orange with a white head with a pink hue. Bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a light fruity sweetness followed by a sharp citric sourness. Raspberry soon overpowered by unripe gooseberries and citrus concentrate. Fresh and a little bit acerbic.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is a bit thin. Sweetish with an our undercurrent. Lingers shortly. Dry finish.
Not as sour at the name indicates - but a moderately flavored brew which fits a spring day very well.
