Copenhagen 11/5 2020. 25 cl bottle from Ølkassen web-shop. Yellow label with black letters spelling Yule Mælk Bourbon Barrel Aged unevenly spaced across the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sugary sweetness and a strong presence of alcohol. Brown sugar, molasses, sweet corn, leather. Sweet bourbon. Light touch of dark, bitter chocolate.
Light carbonation. Thick, smooth, soft, viscous, fat, creamy texture.
Flavor is intense and heavy sweet followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Finish is loaded with sweetness and gives a solid burn.
Very sweet bourbon barrel aged boozer. Prepare for a sweet, sweet Christmas.
