Copenhagen 23/6 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. The label is small squares with geometrical figures. Looks like some kind of intelligence test.
Pours slightly unclear, pale yellow with a big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and clinging to sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma has a notable fruity sweetness and a dry presence lurking in the background. Peach, ripe Pear, some sweet malts. Tart notes of gooseberries and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
A nice and solid IPA which is not as dry as the name indicates.
