The first sessionable beer in our Shock !PA series – introducing the S!PA Simcoe Simcoe. A crisp and fresh session IPA lovingly hopped with the enigmatic Simcoe Hop. This beer is easy going and smooth with moderate bitterness.A more low ABV than the rest of the Shock series!

Copenhagen 30/4 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Simple dark Blue label with the slightly weird name of the beer.
Pours hazy, milky, golden yellow with a big white head. A little bubbly. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of fluffy foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and on the citric side. Light odor of sweet exotic fruit. Peach, melon and pear. A little perfumed. Soon overcome by citric odor of citrus and lemon.
Strong, fizzy carbonation. Slightly thick, lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
A lot of flavor and intensity for a Session IPA.
