Pours an amber orange with a large thick creamy head that just sits there for a while before finally receding (mostly) and leaving plenty of lace. Nose is soft rounded fruits, candied orange, and just a little dank pine. Nice but not along the same lines as No 1 at all. Taste is soft for an IPA. Candied orange remains for sure, and is amplified by the residual sweetness. Not much hop punch at all. An odd sort of IPA, and I'm not sure what to make of it...like it's missing a key component. Mouthfeel is medium with crisp carbonation. Overall, a beer that could have been so good but fell short.
