Privatbrauerei Eichbaum “Eichbaum Hefeweizen Hell”
,5L brown glass bottle coded “Mindestens haltbar bis Ende: 1121 L02 B1”. Sampled on 23.09.21.
Notes: Labeled at 5.0% ABV. Hop extract is used in its production.
Look: Hazy golden body beneath a full head of white foam. The head retention is very good while the lacing could be a little bit better.
Smell: Sweetish wheaty malt dominates over mild phenolics of banana and clove.
Taste: The taste follows the aroma exactly with the addition of some mild bitterness. It finishes mostly dry.
Feel: Medium bodied and effervescent.
Overall: A decent enough hefeweizen.

Hazy golden color with a bit of white head. Aroma has sweet wheat malt, a hint of honey and some fake banana notes. Taste is on the sweet side with some bland flavors and light cardboard. Medium body and carbonation. Overall it's drinkable but it tastes quite bland.

Hazy orange color with a thick huge head with great retention.
Aroma with notes of cloves, wheat and Weizen yeast.
Flavor with notes of cloves, mild bubblegum and banana, Weizen yeast and oranges. Dry aftertaste with a low bitterness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Refreshing Hefeweizen with oranges rather than banana and some phenolic background.
