Sep. 2007: 500 ml bottle, bought in Edinburgh. ABV is 5.3%. Hazy pale golden colour, huge white head. Lovely hefeweizen aroma, the usual notes: cloves, banana, bubblegum. Soft mouthfeel, sweeter than many other h.w.s, moderate flavour of banana and cloves.

Purchased for less than a Euro in Greece. Price-wise, it is a decent score for something on the medium-light end of the body spectrum. Some banana and a touch of clove comes through. However, it seems a bit watered down and the wheat doesn’t come through. A bit metallic in the finish. There are definitely far superior wheat beer options out there, but if you don’t have a choice, it’ll do.

I don't fancy Hefeweizen beers at all but I can drink it if it's alright. This was recommended by my brother but was sort of a letdown in the end: though all the toothpaste smell and feel, it was quite thin and watered down.
Would prefer wheat beer with somewhat fuller body.

It really is a very decent hefe with great flavors of wheat and fruits (apple, banana and etc). However soft but too much carbonation kind of turned me off.

Cloudy, dark gold color. Nice, moderate head but it settles a little too quickly. Many small spots for lace.

The smell is more musty than wheaty--very light banana nose.

The body is smooth with a delicate carbonation. I get a touch of cinnamon with even less clove. The aftertaste brings forward the wheat elements. Overall, a pleasant but innocent Weissbier.

Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat, light lemon and banana, a hint of bubblegum. Flavor is wheat, light grain husk, clove, light lemon, banana and apple. Finishes lightly sweet and grainy. Surprising moderately creamy body with good mouth feel. A traditional hefeweizen profile, a little on the thin side, but covering the wheat and mild fruit flavors. Good body. A satisfactory, classic tasting, but somewhat mild hefeweizen. Big 32 oz. can.

This wheat is not bag, but it's certainly underwhelms. Pours a nice hazy golden with thick white, fluffy head that dissipates rapidly to a ring around the edges. Pretty good loading throughout consumption. Smells of grass, malt, with faint hops. Tastes like a run of the mill wheat, nothing special. Tons of carbonation for get ready for to hide your belching if your trying to make a good impression. This offering from Valentins would be best served ice cold with a cheeseburger. It's an affordable summer brew great for a cookout if you have plenty of ice to keep it at subzero temps. This brew is not the best on its own. You'll impress no one save for its aluminum. The can is ridiculously huge, which makes up for the lackluster experience due to its value as a conversation piece.

Got this at Yankee Spirits Liquor Store on close out for under $4.00. This is the largest can of beer that I have ever seen! One quart and 12 oz. filled a pint glass 2 and a half times. Hefewissbeer is a great Summer style an Valentins goes well with grilled food. If your doctor puts you on a two can a day limit this is the way to go. 44 oz per can. Drinks real smooth.

From Supersol. In Bavaria glass. After dinner. Very correct hefe, what is to be expected from the style withouth nothing out of the ordinary for good or bad. Avg 3.53.

27 Oct 2018. Lata.
