Bottle 0.5L.
Hazy golden body with a huge, frothy, white head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing.
Moderate hoppy (citrus) and light-to-moderate malty (caramel) aroma with fruity notes (banana, apple).
Moderate-to-heavy sweet and light bitter flavour with a very light acidic note; long-lasting sweet finish.
Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

Očita kopija Franzikanera, ali za cijenu je okej piva, jedna koju morate probat ali neće nužno opet uzet, sasvim okej ali ne odlična,ako je cijena uredu onda se isplati uzet, ima okus koji bi se mogao dosta piti.

Today is F, 15 Mai 2020 & I am in deep isolation during the COVID-19 crisis, giving me ample time to clear out my backlog. This one will CANtinue a few days of imports for The CANQuest (tm). This one came to me from @jkblr in a trade.
From the CAN: "Imported from Germany"; "St. Bartholomäus Premium Bier"; "Sankt Bartholomäus Wheat Beer"; "Premium Qualität [undersigned] Jochen Keilbach"; "11.8 P".
I did a bit of in-CAN agitation on this one before Crack!ing open the vent. Once I did so, I beCAN a heavy-handed, aggro C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. This resulted in the formation of just under two fingers of fizzy, foamy, soapy, eggshell-white head with modest retention. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose was rather muted for the style, not favoring either banana or clove, but instead, just a light wheat-y tang. Hmm. I prefer the clove-forward versions, but this was kind of middle-of the-road & rather innocuous, at that. Mouthfeel was thin-to medium, not watery, but not terribly removed from it, either. The taste was kind of reminiscent of banana bread, but it was so light and unobtrusive that I really did not mind. Finish was semi-dry and refreshing, but it lacked real presence.
I was disappointed. I would have expected an German import to be an exemplar of the style & this was not measuring up. YMMV.

I love it when the person that adds a beer also reviews it.Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a hazy dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of banana bread. Taste is of bananas, spices, a touch of apples. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a highly refreshing and decent beer.
