Notes via stream of consciousness: Here I am drinking a summer ale in November but the weather's warm here in Portugal and it's far from past its best-by date. A cloudy golden body is capped by a thumb's width of rocky white foam. The aroma leads me to believe that this is a Belgian-style witbier as there's quite a bit of dried coriander seed to it, and a bit of lemony citrus but there's no mention of spice on the label. Perhaps I'm even more wrong as there's also no mention of any artificial ingredients beyond hop extract. On to the taste, I don't get the same woody/spicy/lemony thing that I found in the aroma but it is similar. It's definitely wheaty, citrusy like lemon, grassy, a little bit woody and/or tea-like, and somewhat acidic. There's not a lot of bitterness to it but none is needed as it's tart and spicy and finishes dry with a lingering woody spiciness. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp with a fine-bubbled carbonation that warms to become smooth. For the price this is a decent fernsehenbier, banhofbier, or strassebier in comparison to most of what's out there as it has a different character and it's for the most part well made.

Yellow colour, a tad muted. White foam, high and very persistent, clouding the glass quite nicely.
Aroma clearly yeasty, further cereal, malty with hints of lemon and tea in the background. It seems light and refreshing.
Taste mildly sour with a similarly mild bitterness on the finish.
Medium saturation. Body medium upwards. Texture smooth and soft. Aftertaste light, medium-long dry.
