Pours a straw yellow with a small amount of foam. Smell is very crisp, a little grain and floral hops. Flavor starts with a good balance of hops and grain, with hops trending stronger and the grain weaker. End of the flavor has faint esther notes, suggesting a wheat beer yeast was used. Body is moderately light, but with plenty of carbonation, making for a refreshing finish. Overall a nice, crisp drinkable beer, which I would appreciate more in summer.

I do agree with another poster that the name Queen of Fire deserves to be a rauchbier.

Pours clear yellow color with a 2-3 finger thick white foamy head that hisses and fades on the faster side, leaving minimal lacing. Smells of buttered bread, caramel, lemon zest and grassy hops. Tastes of biscuit, lemon zest, faint caramel, grassy notes, floral hops, malty sweetness and buttered sourdough bread. A hint of spices as it fades, this was crisp, light and easy to crush.

Pours pale yellow with mild head. A fairly classic Helles flavor body, but with a strong wheatiness on the opening and a subtle banana-like sweetness on the final note. Overall very drinkable.

This one was smooth, went down easily, no odd or after tastes. Not outstanding, but quite satisfactory. Looks like they want more characters, so here they are.

Privatbrauerei Eichbaum "Die Konigin des Feuers"
500 ml can coded "07.07.2025 EXL P047170424"
$59.99 / 24 can - Costco's Biergarten Collection, Costco, Christiana, DE

Notes via stream of consciousness: "The Queen of Fire" is a pretty good name for a beer, but is it a smoked beer? It's labeled as a helles so let's see. It certainly looks like a helles with a clear golden body beneath two inches of rocky white foam. The aroma expresses lightly sweetish and grainy malt with some floral hop notes. The taste follow, and this is certainly not a rauchbier. That would have been great given the name but they don't really brew rauchbier outside of the area around Bamberg. Still, it's a pretty good name. It's lightly sweetish, mildly grainy, and softly floral and perhaps a touch spicy. I'm not finding anything else. It's clean and well made, and refreshing but a little light on bitterness for my personal taste. Ehh, I guess that's OK, a malty helles is fine, but I find it almost borderline going out of balance despite the fact that it's not sweet, certainly not cloying, and actually finishes fairly dry. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth. As it warms I'm getting some subtle apple-like fruitiness coming out but overall it's a fairly one-sided beer. No one will be challenged by this, and that's OK if that's what you want, but I'd like a little more hops, if not for bitterness at least in flavor. I'll add this to my list of fernseherbiers. On a positive note, the head retention and lacing were both very good.

It's a helles - sweet with little to no bitterness with a dry finish. Complexity: No. However, it is at the moment the best of the Helles selections in the 2024 Costco Biergarten Selections.

From the half liter can in the 2024 Biergarten Collection from Costco, it pours a clear yellow amber color with a very nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets light malt, followed by the mouth getting a pleasant, light in flavor, malty brew that is pleasant overall.

500 ml can from the 2024 Biergarten Collection (Costco). The can has July(?) 2024 canning date and a July(?) 2025 stamped on the bottom.

This lager has a clear amber colored body with a tall, foamy white head that has good retention. The aroma carries a balanced mix of grains and hops.
The flavor is also rather evenly balanced but quite mild. This is less grassy and more malty than most(?) German Helles. The flavor improved, and was more malty, after some warming.
