I love the honey aroma. Taste is delicious, with the malt orientation of a Helles. A little grassy taste at first which dissipates with time and a little warming.
Beer is slightly hazy compared to other Helles.

Aroma is grainy/husky malts and a hint of citrus. The flavor is grainy/husky malts/hint of brown bread, fruit and a crisp/dryish/mildly bitter hop finish.

Fairly pleasant light German Hell. It has a lovely light gold color and an aroma of summer grasses. The taste is very mild but in line with the style. A touch of sweetness and some lingering crackery maltiness. Not much in the hops department. I found it more delicious straight from the bottle.

Ettaler Edel-Hell pours a golden color with a small, long-lasting, lacing head. The aroma is quite sweet, with lovely grain. The flavor is sweet, zippy, bright, sweet grain, and many flavors. Good feel. Overall, this is a fantastic, no-frills helles lager packed with flavor.

From a bottle. Light amber color with thin white head. Lager yeast aroma. Medium body, light carbonation. Toasted malt with a peppery hop finish. Easy drinking

16.9oz bottle with no visible freshness date.
2 finger bubbly white head with good retention and settles in as a solid cap.
Soft gold body with a touch of haze. Early thin lacing patterns that continue throughout.
Doughy malt nose with a lightly spicy hop perfume.
Bready, sweet malt...a savory (saline?) note followed by grassy, spicy hops.
Light body with a soft mouthfeel and low to medium carbonation. Hint of sweetness in a medium length finish.
Not convinced that this was the best example of this beer but it's good enough to make me want to pursue a freshie.
Good to Very Good.

This one blew away my mediocre expectations. Enjoyed on Mother's Day 2024. I generally enjoy beers from this brewer, but this may be my fave yet. An absolutely delicious display of slightly-sweet bready malt character. I'll need to find more. Superb.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear light yellow golden color with a modest white head that slowly diminishes, leaves some spotty lacing and eventually becomes a thin layer. The nose gets light bready malt with a light hop enhancement. The taste has a light hop bite to go along with the light malt flavor.
