Poured from tap into a chalice, 2 finger tan head great lacing. Ruby black in the glass little light passes thru. Smells of roasted malt, coffee, that is about it, but plenty. Taste initially Expresso, in your face with it, some chocolate roasted, and a hint of pecan. Finish with a mild coffee bitterness. Rich creamy mouthfeel. For the life of me can't figure out why these beers are one and done. Far superior than most of their offerings.
