A sour brown ale with cherries - pours brown with a tan head and moderate retention. The aroma is reminiscent of baked pie crust with tart cherry in the background, essentially cherry pie in a glass. The flavor is much like the aroma, with toasty bread crust and tart cherry coming through on the pallet. Medium body with medium carbonation and moderate tartness in the finish. This is our untraditional take on a holiday beer; instead of loading you up with tons of cinnamon and other spices; we threw some tart cherry pie liquid into a glass.
