Served in 13 oz. tulip glass, dark brown with 1/4" bubbly head that dissipates relatively quickly and leaves some lace. The scent is somewhat nondescript, possibly because the beer is served too cold. I can pick up light malt with a hint of chocolate and honey. The initial flavor is strong malt with a bit of chocolate. Once it warmed up properly the chocolate flavor became more of a licorice flavor, especially in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. This was on special reserve when I had it, indicating it will be gone soon. Hopefully they will have it back again. It is very enjoyable and worth a try. It has surprisingly good/strong flavor considering the suble smell.
