This beer, which I purchased for $4.50 at the Rio Chama Steakhouse in Santa Fe, New Mexico (the businesses are connected and beers often circulate amongst them), was a clear gold color off their tap. Lots of visible rising carbonation leading to a white head that retained as a thin collar and left consistent lacing. The aroma was dry and lightly floral but really quite weak. The flavors were at first surprisingly hoppy, again in a floral way, followed by a dry, biscuity malt in the middle. Rather grainy. The finish was crisp and slightly bitter. The mouthfeel was smooth, the carbonation spot-on and the body medium. A fine, if not outstanding example of the style.
