Poured on-tap at Chama River Brewing Co, the beer was served in a pint glass. The beer pours a clear, orange-amber color with a thin film of white head. There is a lot of bubbling, showing an increased carbonation. The nose is a smooth, light caramel sweet smell. Honey and caramel sweet flavors ride a thick bodied brew that finishes nice, smooth, and clean. The aftertaste is spicy sweet (like a sweet pepper). Very tasty beer.
