From the 11.2 oz bottle in a snifter. This oddity from Mexico via the
Little Lady's daughters beau pours a dark and murky brownish
black with a decent head of tan foam that settles to a thick
ring, thin light layer, and shows moderate lacing. Nose of
earthy malts, cocoa, heavy char, and old wooden casks
with some tequila notes. Flavors follow the nose with
a tequila and cocoa note laden with char and having
set in a very old barrel with brewers licorice and
subtle spice. Decent mouth feel; full body, slick,
coating, and lightly warming.
Overall, this has to be IMHO one of the worst
put together imperial stouts I have ever had.
A hot mess of wood, smoke, and char. Glad
to have tried it and glad when it was finished
which is a real shame.

Black color with a thick thin caramel head with medium retention.
Aroma with notes of cocoa, earth, humid wood, mezcal and charcoal.
Flavor with predominant notes of mezcal, charcoal, coffee and smoke. Dry aftertaste with a medium to full bitterness. It feels lower than its 65 IBUs.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation. Difficult to believe this has 12% abv.
Imperial Stout with lots of smoke, earthy and mezcal notes.
