A: color is a dark reddish with some brown and amber hues, little cloudy, carbonation could be richer, it forms a little head and there ir no lots of traces on the glass and almost no permanent layer on top.
S: at first nothing to notice but then the peach aroma is pretty clear and gives the beer a good smell according to the style.
T: could be more tasty, alcohol is high as should but the expectations were for something extra. Malty backbone but more fruits would be nicer.
M: sensations are complex, not a simple beer but if course not a simple style. Starts neutral and presents some sweetness directly connected to the high alcohol inside. Good and lasting end.
Good but not excellent for one of my favorite styles.

Got the 2012 edition 355ml bottle.
poured into an oversized wine glass.
pours an appealing caramel colored liquid, untranslucent, very hazy, poured aggresively, got a half finger white head, little retention, lots of lacing, abundant visible carbonation. handsome tan swirl on top of the liquid at all times.
nose composed of belgian yeast, faint dark fruit rind and cherries, malts and a dash of alcohol. the aroma reminds me of fresh fermented beer.
nice balanced palate not too sweet not too bitter, yeasty, not an alcoholic bite but definitely present, you can feel the warmth right away. faint raisin/fig and hoppy bitterness aftertaste.
medium to full body, medium to high but adequate carbonation.
this is a good seasonal beer, not too spiced and no too sweet malty/fruity as others belgian dark strong ales, a lil boozy though. would have again next year.

Yule '11
Nothing worthy to comment on the Appearance.
Smell of dark fruits, booze, floor cleaner, raisins, date.
The taste is terrible, cloying, boozy, artificial, cheap fruitcake. It seems this beer was brewed using Log Cabin syrup and spices.
Nothing either to comment on the Mouthfeel
The brewer promoted this beer a lot, even had the nerve to make up the "Y day". I'm sure that thanks to the promotion of Yule a lot of people bought the beer and got a wrong impression about mexican craft beers

A: a copper to brownish color, unfiltered, cloudy, with a constant carb in small amounts, the head shows good retention and presents a tan color
S: perfumy, some ethil, solvently a little bit, dark fruits, figs, plums and raisins
T: chewy end, some sweet and alcohol warm at the end, same falvours as found on the smel
