Gdańsk 21/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Netto in Międzyzdroje. Drawing on the label where the artist try to find the balance between a medieval building and some factories oozing smoke.
Pours clear yellow with a fairly big white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is sweetish, fruity with some subdued but notable notes of skunk. Sweet pale malts. Grains. Sharp, lightly tart, sour, citrus notes.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a more subdued sweeter undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
A bit generic, skunky Polish pilsner.

500ml can in Poland. Namysłów is relatively dark for a pilsner; the very large carbon dioxide bubbles are striking. The aroma is faintly spicy. The initial taste is predominantly malty, which gives the beer a certain warmth.
An unpleasant metallic taste soon comes through in the body, and the unusually high alcohol content for a pilsner also becomes noticeable, although it does not carry many noteworthy aromas. Unfortunately, the taste completely falls apart: the malt notes evaporate, the hop aroma (or even just bitterness) fails to develop, and instead the flavors shift to a very broad, grainy direction reminiscent of rice cakes. The finish is diffuse and really not worth mentioning.
Namysłów is the first Polish pilsner I have tasted – the beers with the largest market shares (Zywiec, Tyskie, Warka, etc.) are all lagers. It won't be the last, because I'm sure there's a brewery in this country that can do better. The bar is set pretty low.
Dont know who put all of the 5 ratings in here but is is not even a sad joke.

Revieiwing again as everytime I drink this, I have a different opinion. At one point this was my favourite commercial Polish pilsner. Also I love the bottle shape. Not sure who the 3 guys on the bottle are.
Complex hoppy aroma, similar to a German pils. Rather watery appearance and head dies down quite fast, as tends to be common with Polish lagers.
Mega light, punchy hops and dry. Honey flavour balances perfectly with the punchy dry hops. I'm detecting some dates and prunes. Maybe a little lemon peel. Even though the mouth feel is mega thin and watery with little effervescence, the hops somehow create an interesting and refreshing dry mouth feel.
This beer is quite unique in its dry refreshingness. It's kind of like a Brut champagne, Cava or Prosecco. At almost 6% the alcohol is incredibly well hidden. Some mocnes are 7% and the alcohol is everywhere. This tastes kind of organic, expensive and natural. The only Polish pilsner/lager that I like significantly more than this is Trybunal Export.

Namysłów Pils has a thick, off-white head, and a deep gold, bubbly appearance, with lots of powdery sediment and fairly heavy lacing. The aroma is of biscuit. The flavor is sweet, white bread crust, honey, and some grassy bitterness. Namysłów Pils has a medium body and a crisp finish.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a big, four finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt, grassy hops, light graininess and a touch of lemon. Flavor is bready, lightly grainy malt, light grassy hops, wheat and husky husky grain; lightly astringent bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I agree with whomever entered this as a European pale lager; it's not much of a pilsner; very light hop character. The flavors are attenuated and fade quickly into a mildly grassy hops finish with lingering grainy malt. An adequate, but unimpressive lager and not hopped enough to be called a pilsner. Too bad, it has a decent looking head and solid mouth feel.

Drunk at Adega Sports Bar in Poznań (Poland) while watching Athletic Club Bilbao vs. Cádiz.
-Pilsener look with No foam.
-Almost no smell.
-Pilsener taste.
-Very drinkable, easy to enjoy. Slightly bitter mouthfeel but I think it is superb for drinking a couple in the pub, but not a memorable brew.
Good!

De color dorado, con una mínima línea de espuma que se disipa rápidamente. Ligera y de carbonatación media. Aroma herbáceo y a pan. En boca ligeramente amarga.

568 ml can, shared with Holmen1 and Holmen2. ABV is 6%. Clear golden colour, large white head. Grainy and slightly herbal aroma. Refreshing pilsener flavour, tolerable hops, not too sweet.

Look - Rich golden colour. Nice head. OK lacing.
Smell - Mostly malty, quite sweet, honey-like.
Taste - Taste of "light toast" not to much hops. Very "short" taste sensation with gentle bitter aftertaste. A bit flavorless.
Feel - Not too watery, but without strong substance. Quite smooth despite higher alcohol content.
Overall - OK. Good for a hot day, having with spicy curry or if you want to get tipsy without getting overwhelming alcohol aftertaste in your mouth.
