Sampled this imperial version of Black Stars Vulcan IPA on tap at BS. Pours a very clear reddish brown with almost no head. Nose is piney and orangey sweet. Taste is resinous with a bit of orange and kumquat (and yes I know what kumquat tastes like). Finish is clean and palate is readily cleansed. Not very well balance but then again I don't think that ws the point with this beer.
