Completely different from the Spiced offering last year, this one's an imperial stout with orange and success rather than a spiced up double Dee/ imperial amber. Last year was delicious, this one is... Not good. Maybe they left it sitting on the spices over the holidays and, now, in the new year, it's suffered for it. Overpoweringly anise flavored and scented, it covers up whatever else good it has going on and tastes like good & plenty for a good minute after the sip. Very disappointing, the what beer I've had here. Doubly disappointing because calling it the same thing is very misleading.
