i thought this was pretty good, not sure what when wrong with the experience of the other rater here, but this light dry hopped pilsener is tasty, nice with delicate food, flavorful and american, but out of the way too. my first from these guys, i had never even heard of them before this one. when i see a beer on tap at a really nice restaurant, i often instantly respect it, like it has been vetted by the chef, who theoretically has a killer palate, so i trust it automatically, which was the case here. this is very light, definitely incorrectly listed as an imperial pils, its pretty darn light, but its also really fresh to me, with a cool noble hop profile but no bitterness at all, just a leafy and limey taste and aroma, cool to see noble varietals in a dry hop context, if in fact thats what this is. i think it is, and i like it. simple dry pils malt base, clean lager yeast fermentation, minerals in a dry finish, refreshing but not too minimalist, and a nice drink with delicate foods like raw fish, mild vegetables, and even things a little heavier like homemade pasta. way better than it has been given credit for here! nice carbonation too, i love that in the style.
