Slightly bitter aroma with some coffee notes. Dark and opaque in color. Soft malty and roasty flavor with a thin silky texture. Very drinkable with a slightly bitter finish that doesn’t linger too long. Solid choice for a porter!

Good. Smooth and not too toasty. A good stout.
Had this after my Epsilon... probably should have done it the other way around.

This pours a roasty black-brown in color with light foam. There’s a light roast aroma to it with some hoppiness. It has a great roasty flavor to it that becomes more pronounced as it warms, followed by a roasty and bitter piney hop finish. There’s a lightly sweet molasses undertone to it that balances the flavors. It’s not heavy but it stays sharp and crisp throughout. Makes for a good wintery beer.

On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is heavy on the burnt malt and chocolate. The flavor is more of the same. The predominant flavor is a mix of heavily charred/burnt malt with some chocolate and roasted malt mixed in. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A nice American porter.
