I always enjoyed visiting Black Star.
Following a recent discovery of a trove of notes from 2011 I’m filling in reviews I missed.
From my notes: yeasty/estery, orange peel citrus, light finish.

On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours an orange-gold color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the candy sugar with some oranges. I also get an aroma that smells a little bit like circus peanuts.
The flavor is heavy on the Belgian yeast, candy sugar, orange citrus and quite a bit of alcohol.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
