Served at Black Star Co-op Pub & Brewery in Austin, TX
A: Pours a slightly hazy deep golden yellow with a half finger tall white head. There is good head retention but almost no lacing is present.
S: Aromas of floral and citrus hops.
T: Nice amount of bitterness that highlights the floral and citrus hops. Subtle complexity with just a hint of spice.
M: Medium bodied with very little carbonation. Slightly thin/watery.
O: Pretty easy to drink but not anything out of this world. Enjoyable but not something that I would go back for - the flavors and the smell are just a little too light for me.

Sampled 10/9/2011 at the brewpub.
From the board: "A traditional American pale ale, dry hopped with 20 lbs of Citra “wet hops.” Wet hops are flown in overnight from Yakima Valley, Washington, and added directly to Hubris… can’t get more fresh than that!"
Pours dark yellow/orange, mostly clear, some white head, not much lacing or retention.
Aroma is citrus, apple, pine, and malt.
Flavor is citrus, a disconcerting rubber flavor, some apple, caramel, peach, and pine. Very involved and despite the apple and rubber this tastes pretty good.
Body is medium-ish and drinkable.
