Dark pour, thin tan head. Dark roasted malt on the nose. Slightly bitter on tongue. The middle does not seem to match the beginning, it is somewhat thin and dominated by the carbonation. Dry out the backside.|12/20/2012

Creamy, roasty, great coffee aroma and flavor. From the bottle I received more of a bitter taste than on draft, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. This was definitely a robust porter, not thin in the slightest, and complimented the coffee immensely.

This is a dark molasses, black with light exposure. There’s a low malty aroma, roasty with a lot of coffee and chocolate. Tastes sweet with a full body and a long finish. Starts off smooth, gets sharp, and ends with a long roasty finish. It’s good but give it some time in a barrel and cask-condition it and it could be… amazing.
