On tap at the brewery during the RateBeer Winter Gathering.
The beer pours a dark brown to black color with an off-white head. The aroma has a lot of chocolate and roasted malt notes, with not too much of the pine that I got in the regular version. The flavor has a lot of milk chocolate notes, as well as a little bit of pine and a tad bit of oak. The barrel aging must have muted some of the bitterness because there is hardly any present in this beer. Medium, creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
