Dark chestnut color, more than a finger of a quite good and compact head.
Malty smell, chocolate notes, with a good presence of hop. Not too much caramel, a bit of hay and peppery.
Not a typical dopplebock, with a more wide flowery opening, less caramel, malt, hazelnut and toasted.
More classic in the taste, but still, with a stronger hopping, a sharper toasted, a lot of hazelnut, herbal and hay in evidence, balancing the malty fullness.
Very interesting.
In the aftertaste again hazelnut, hay, grassy notes and caramel.
Alcohol well hidden.
Very good.
