I was given a sample of this by one of the employee's while I was sucking down their Scottish Ale. Rye beer, hmmm...haven't had one before. This is the other spring beer they feature. Well, it's time to 'rye' it out:
Blonde in color with moderate carbonation action in the body. Smell hints of lemon and rye. The flavor is pretty interesting. Although it's a bit light, spice, hops, and herbs come together to form a stirring beer. It doesn't leave any aftertaste on the tongue with it's dry body. Not as good as the Scottish Ale, but still quite refreshing.
