The American Stout is 7 % and was served in a std pint, the beer is jet black with a thin beige head.
Nose of black malts, raisins, and molasses.
Lots of roasted malts, dark fruits and a bit of coffee. Dry in the finish. It hits the right notes for me.
The mouth is borderline thick with a bit more carbonation than I would like. The extra bubbles cut into the drinkability of a pretty decent stout.

Poured a nice dark brown color, but with just a little head and lacing (not much for a stout). Good scent, very deep, nice coffee undertones with the burnt grain aroma. Good taste, some coffee flavors, the usual burnt grains, some good hops flavoring to balance the malt. It does go down very smoothly.
