On-tap at Alcatraz (Orange)
A: The beer pours a very pale and very translucent straw color with a short lived white head.
S: Sort of a bland aroma to this. Candied orange peel and floral notes along with some actual honey type smells. Definitely some corn in there and a bit of yeast, pale malt, and fruity esters.
T: The flavor is intensely sweet, almost like candy. Lots of orange rind flavor, but sweetened, floral honey, and more candy and sugar. Certainly some corn in there as well.
M: The body is light and the carbonation is bordering on excessive.
O: Way too sweet for me. I would struggle to drink more than a few ounces of this.

4 oz tap pour in a mini American tumbler pint glass. 6.2% ABV. Had at Alcatraz Brewing Co. at The Block in Cali.
A - This beer comes out a vary pale yellow with a see-through, carbonated body and no head or lace to go with it.
S - Orange Blossom Honey Blonde smells no where near as good or as intriguing as the name suggests it would be. Pale malts lightly back up a bit of raw honey with notes of grains and huskiness. No orange sadly.
T - Dabs of honey and thin flower pedals blend with pale malts to provide something slightly better than what the nose offers.
M - The spritzy carbonation is what I expected, giving this beer a crisp and light body.
D - Orange Blossom Honey Blonde could be so much more than what it is. The honey sweetness is a start but it needs more than that in all areas. Decent drinkability.
