A. Poures a clear amber apricot color, small dimishing white head with some lacing on the glass.
S. Pine, citrus, grass, pineapple
T. Starts citrus, with a slight spicyness, then the hops kick in.
M. Medium bodied, decent carbonation. Big duration.
D. Lots of bitterness, I wished there was a little more sweetness here but a decent brew.

On-tap at Alacatraz (Orange)
A: The pour is a golden amber color with a big soapy white head and some mild lacing.
S: A nice beginning to the nose with plenty of citrus/grapefruit hops with a bit of a lemon zest. There's a fair amount of grassy hop aroma to this beer as well. Not too much in the way of malt, but maybe some bread.
T: The flavor is sort of harsh at times, especially on the front end. A bit of tropical fruits like pineapple, but that quickly fades to grass and lemon zest. There's a bit of a grain husk flavor which provides an additional, but unwelcome, bitterness.
M: Just about medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: This seemed to have promise on the nose and on my first couple sips, but it soon became apparent this wasn't going to be a winner.
