Came to the table a nice dark brown color with some good initial head, although no lacing to speak of. Good scent, a nice heady and deep malty aroma. Excellent taste, too, nutty and deep, a very earthy flavor, dark and smooth. It goes down easily for such a deep beer, as well.

Draft at Indy location.
Poured a rediish brown color with medium off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Well balanced aroma. Medium flavor of malt, coffee and small hops and a medium bittersweet finish of average duration. Medium texture with soft carbonation.
Solid drinkable brew.

From a sampler: This beer is a dark brown color with a medium thick beige head. Thin, sticky lacing. The aroma is very nutty with a touch of brown sugar. Very smooth body with a tasty roasted coffee, nut and malt blend. The only downside is the flavor is not very lasting. The finish is nutty and has a lightly bitter aspect to it. This is a pretty good Brown.

This Brown Ale poured a medium sized tan head with small bubbles. This brew had excellent lacing and the body was brown in hue. It had a mild coffee aroma and a smooth flavor from start to finish. At the same time, this brew was thin and watery in my opinion. I much prefer their Porter to this particular brew.

Dark reddish brown body with no apparent CO2 trails. Not much head, and it faded quickly. Very light aroma from this beer, which disappointed me. Smell of toffee and coffee was good, but very thin. The taste, however, is wonderful. Very rich blend of toffee and lightly roasted coffee. Hop bitterness is present, but it's job seems to be to balance the sweet malt. Smooth, creamy brew. Excellent session brew.
