grabbed at the brewery 9 days ago.
poured cold from the growler to a sun king shaped pint a dark mahogany brown with a finger and a half off white foamy head with nice retention and lace to the rim.
fairly big aroma of piney (and floral ?) hops, brown sugar and burnt molasses.
bitter hops forward, molasses, turbinado sugar, and dark nuts. toffees and caramels coming out as the beer warms a bit.
bitter to the top of the mouth, medium carbonation, creamy and medium bodied.
drinkable - sure.
