I got this freshly tapped at a brew fest during a visit to my hometown near Indy...the source. PDG stands for pretty damn good. That pretty much describes it.

Medium orange and amber look. Moderate, candied, sweet spiced malt aroma, with a touch of Mandarin orange peel, in the aroma. Smooth blending of lightly caramelized malts, hints of mixed citrus peel, a bit of a floral/perfumed note, to the taste.

Beautiful orange body, white head, thin bubbled lacing. The nose is pine and orange, the flavor works with these but adds a orange creme soda aspect and a strong malt backbone. The feel is brisk. A very solid and drinkable Pale that I'd drink again.

Pours copper. Short, foamy, off Whitehead that lasts shortly with light lacing.
Smells Citrus, Light Carmel, Light toasted malts, and lightly earthy.
Taste bready malt, citrus peel, light toasted malts, light Pine and earthiness. Finishes dry with citrus peel and light pepper linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.
