Growler filled about five hours ago at the brewery.
Chinookalicious Pours a light bodied tarnished copper in color with a one finger, off white head. The nose is very fresh and bright. The chinook hops are very aromatic. The nose is very clean and features spicy hop character with a nice caramel malt backbone to even everything out. Really, I don't think the nose is too far from Triton's Railsplitter. This beer drinks really well. It's lighter, making it easier to drink and more sessionable. The malt backbone provides adequate sweetness and the chinook shines through. It is spicy, slightly piny, and finishes dry. This one is a keeper. IF Bier ever bottles regularly this should be in their lineup. It's a nice beer and would sell very well. Chinookalicious!
