On tap at the brewery served in a Willi Becher Glass

the beer pours a clear amber/orange color with a smallish white head that quickly recedes leaving behind very little lacing

The aroma is bready and sweet, with notes of caramel, and floral hops.

The flavor like the aroma is bready malt, slight caramel, and floral hops. Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. The beer finishes clean and slightly dry

Overall the beer is pretty good, but necessarily a top tier Marzen

Drank out of a can in the dark. Taste is malt forward and very nutty. Almonds pecans and peanuts are all very present. Bread and other classic malt flavors also make an appearance. An easy drinker this beer is fine but certainly not the best representation of an Oktoberfest beer. Creamy and lightly carbonated with a slight sweetness on the mid palate.

Poured on tap at the brewery, but into a plastic cup given coronavirus restrictions which may have slightly affected the experience.

L: Brownish-red copper/amber color. Very little head that quickly dissipates, leaving only obnoxious added CO2 bubbles on the sides and bottom of the glass.

S: faint biscuit and toasted bread.

T: toasted bread, biscuit, malt, very faint caramel, crisp lager profile, definitely somewhat sweet but not cloying.

F: Medium body, creamy and smooth, low carbonation.

O: pretty good tasting but flat. More biscuit and caramel than traditional Marzen. Easy drinking and refreshing. Not worth seeking out but I’d take one at a German Fest no problem.

Grabbed at the brewery a couple days ago and poured cold to a sun king shaped pint this afternoon a crisp, translucent coppery brown with a full two finger, big bubbled foamy head leaving a wee bit of spotty lace.

Aroma of dark sugars, a bit of smoke(?) and roasted nuts.

Fairly light bodied, medium carbonation, smooth and sweet. Great big roasty malts, brown sugars, and toffee. Super toothy for such a light bodied beer. Real nice example of an Oktoberfest. Hoping this one sees a repeat batch in a month or two.

Super drinkable @ 6.0.
