picked up by a friend at the brewery a few months ago, unfortunately forgotten, and opened cold from the bullet today.
poured a semi translucent honey gold to an upland brewing goblet with a super thin head. most likely the carb is suffering from the time spent on the shelf.
faint belgian yeast / bready aroma and a wee bit of spice.
medium bodied, faint carbonation, hot to the palate, well balanced, but certainly hot.
big spice up front alongside earthy hops. faint banana and apricot.
a seriously big beer. and next time around, it's opened fresh.
