Perhaps the most experimental brewery out there. The beer is consistently good. Because of non-stop events, the place is fun to go to hang out and have some crazy brew. Usually at least one new beer a week. Love the patio!

Highly recommended by friends and went to catch up with an old buddy.
Atmosphere- Nice atmosphere with both a to-go counter and a tap room with a few tables. The parking isn't very good but small price to pay for great beer. It's just off of down town and is a rustic place in Indy. It's a cool place to hangout and even better when you can go out onto the patio and take in the Indiana sunshine.
Quality- The beers are all pretty good and some stunners lie in wait for your palate. No food at this location but a great brewery. The seasonal beers are usually better than the lineup but the walkabout is a winner and the specials make the trip that much more exciting.
Service- Good service.
Selection- The usuals are always on tap with quite a selection of seasonals/specialties that make Flat 12 a great stopping point in Indy.
No food at the brewery.
The value is good with a 32oz growler and 2 pints for less that $25. Flat 12 is making great beer affordable.
I recommend this place for good draft beer and is always a great stop in Indianapolis.

Outdoor area is a large, beautiful patio if you happen to be there on a nice day. The inside tasting room is okay too, but there's only so much you can do to spruce up the character of a windowless cinder block room. The beer is tasty and they have a nice selection on tap. The staff is friendly and helpful. They had a food truck setting up as I left. I'd totally go back--I had a nice time and some good beers.
