500 ml, BB date reads 21. April 2011, into tulip. Pours light amber body with good clarity topped by medium, frothy white head with good retention and stickage to the walls. The nose is moderate maltiness with light toasty notes, evident spiciness from the noble hops used and noticeable alcohol. Moderate pale malt flavor with light toasty qualities, peppery spiciness originating from from noble hops and/or alcohol, some hoppy bitterness lending dry finish. Very clean. Light to medium bodied and moderately carbonated.
In short: a clean Heller Bock with pronounced noble-hop spiciness.
