cold from the tap at the brewpub an opaque dark nut brown to a 6oz taster with a thin off white head.
aroma of grassy hops and rye.
sweet brown sugars up front balanced aside a hoppy rye. very nice subtle rye, not overwhelming tongue palate.
medium bodied, medium carbonation, smooth and sweeter than expected - closer to a brown than an ipa.
enjoyable.
