Bachelor Party-Palooza 2014 (Part 1) begins in earnest here at Haymarket with a new pale ale. It pours a clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises flowers, wet grass, mixed greens, and a touch of mild biscuit way in the background. The taste brings in more of the same, the aforementioned terrarium of hops joined by a small bit of pine resin. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly drying finish. Overall, a decent pale, though the heavy greenery in the hop profile isn't quite up my alley. Still, I wouldn't necessarily mind having another.
